We will go to the Gran Teatre del Liceu to see La Bohème, one of the best-known and most loved operas in the world, with music by Giacomo Puccini.
The story takes place in Paris and follows a group of young artists who have very little money, but a strong desire to live, create and love. A tender and fragile love story begins between them.
It is a very emotional opera, with beautiful music, and it speaks about things everyone can understand: friendship, poverty, love, illness, hope and loss.
It can be a very good first opera, because it is direct, human and easy to connect with emotionally, even if we do not know this world.
You do not need to have been to the Liceu before or know anything about opera. The aim is to share the experience together.
