We will go to the Gran Teatre del Liceu to see La clemenza di Tito, an opera by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, one of the most important composers in the history of music.
This opera tells a story set in ancient Rome. The main character is Tito, an emperor who must decide how to act when he discovers a betrayal. The work speaks about power, trust, revenge and, above all, forgiveness.
It may seem like an old story, but the questions it raises are still very relevant: what do we do when someone hurts us? Is it possible to forgive? What does it mean to rule with justice?
It is an opportunity to hear Mozart’s music live and to enter the world of opera through a story full of human conflict.
No previous knowledge of opera or classical music is needed.
